How To Use AI Mastering 2
Test “ai mastering 2” on the same song against your current mastering chain, then show which one actually wins.
Most “AI mastering” videos stop at a reaction. The interesting part is whether it holds up in a level-matched A/B and fixes the same problems a human chain targets.
- Screen recording: exporting your mix, uploading to AI Mastering 2, settings/toggles
- Your current mastering chain on the same mix (plugins, presets)
- Level-matched A/B switching (toggle button, solo sections)
- Waveform/LUFS check (only if you already use a meter)
- Before/after listening on: monitors + cheap earbuds + car test clip
Viewers get a repeatable A/B test method and a clear “use it for X, avoid it for Y” decision they can copy today.
AUDIT
- Do you have ONE finished mix (30–60s chorus) you can legally play?
- Do you have a “normal” mastering chain you actually use (even if it’s simple: limiter + EQ)?
- Can you do a level-matched A/B (same loudness) so the comparison isn’t fake?
- Can you name 2 specific problems your master is trying to solve (harsh top end, weak low end, no glue)?
FIX
3-step checklist you can apply today:
1) Build the comparison asset
- Pick one chorus + one verse.
- Export 24-bit WAV of the mix.
- Write down 2 target issues you want the master to improve.
2) Run the clean A/B
- Master once with AI Mastering 2.
- Master once with your usual chain.
- Level-match both, then A/B on the same 3 timestamps (hook, vocal entry, loudest moment).
3) Score it like a producer
- Rate each version on: vocal clarity, low-end control, punch, harshness.
- Declare the winner per category, not “overall vibes.”
Hook template (say it on-camera):
"I’m putting ai mastering 2 against my real mastering chain — level-matched — and we’ll see who wins on vocals, low-end, and punch."
Thumbnail test idea:
A/B split thumbnail: left text “AI MASTERING 2” right text “MY CHAIN” with one big word in the middle: “LEVEL-MATCHED”.
TEST
- Film a 6–8 min teardown.
- Open with the A/B switch in the first 10 seconds.
- Show the exact same 3 timestamps for both masters.
- Put the scorecard on screen and fill it live.
- End by stating: “Use ai mastering 2 when ___; don’t when ___,” then play one final blind A/B.
